After playing Dust 514 for quite some time.
it struck me the following:
Great game. Has alot of potential.
--Keyboard & mouse: besides it still feeling abit clunky(almost like Killzone 2 & 3) you notice how players are just overall slower & heavier not to mention many prefer to be still when shooting(skills required to feel lighter/move faster I guess?) it's still very buggy zooming in aint allways working(using Sidewinder x4 keyboard and logitech mx518) believe me tried increasing sensitivity aint allways the solution.
--Spawning: getting instagib'd when you just spawn is wtf? give atleast 1-2sec spawn prot(but then again spawning in a danger zone is risky)
--Voices of the battlefield: in the trailer the merc is talking to his group but in the game it's totally silent just gun fires? Add voices for a more realistic feel to the game say since it's a team-game make your merc shout when: your down(MEdiiiiccc!! classic moment eh?) when you drop someone(kill, example Sk+íl Mother F'cker), loading(Reloading!! indicator to on the map and hud), low on ammo(I need ammo! indicator on map and hud so players can actually NOTICE), throwing a grenade, yell when there is a grenade nearby( the indicator is nice! gj there) when you're calling for vehicle drops(**Vehicle name** drop coming soon boys) and the list goes on.
--Deaths: many times when you die, you will die just like that(hence the BETA) that's why adding voices are important so if a grenade kills you it's not just gonna be BOOM! instead it's gonna be Oh ****! GRENA---BOOM! oh and I know you're a templar moduled soldier who cant die but adding death(now you're probably thinking, slow down son you just said you cant die but still want death sounds.... DA heck?O.o technically, your clone died so.. SEND IN THE NEW ONE!) sounds adds alot of atmosphere just as voices does(it's war, war is never glorious, it's dreadfull, and bloody)
--other info: I know it's a BETA so I'm not bashing the game if that is what people are thinking after reading this, It's a BETA and that's why I'm here, reporting what I think the game needs ofcourse it's all just opinions and opinions are just going to be that.
